Acarinthesun was to provide an on-line booking swervice for car hire, in contrast to the personal service of sister brand www.carhirewarehouse.com The name acarinthesun was inspired by carhirewarehouse, who had a long-standing and very successful relationship with the TV production company that made the Channel 4 series A Place in the Sun. Over several years carhirewarehouse arranged many of the cars that Amanda Lamb and other presenters drove in the programme as well as many people-carriers for the crew.
